How It Works

Chicagoland small businesses fill out an online questionnaire powered by Fundera.

STEP 2
Get matched with CDFIs in the Chicagoland area

Fundera uses its technology to match eligible Chicagoland small businesses with leading mission-driven lenders in the Chicagoland area. These lenders will have five business days to review the application, request additional materials and decide on an offer.

STEP 3
Assess your options

If a Chicagoland lender is unable to render a decision, or denies an applicant, small businesses will be able to apply for other credit options on Fundera’s national platform as quickly as possible.

STEP 4
Get connected to business assistance

From the outset, if small businesses need help with business coaching, planning or marketing, Small Business Majority will work to connect them with Chicagoland’s best business assistance centers.
